Volunteer for PPS-SF Enrollment Workshops

Do you love your public school? Did PPS-SF help you to understand and navigate SFUSD enrollment? Then pay it forward and volunteer to help with our enrollment workshops!

Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco seeks volunteers to help us with our enrollment events. All public school lovers are welcome, but parents and caregivers who have been through the SFUSD student assignment experience are in an excellent place to offer guidance and understanding to new families.

Each year, PPS-SF hosts between 150 and 200 workshops at preschools, community centers, and public libraries across San Francisco. We help families to understand the student assignment process for SF public schools and how to make the best choices for their children.

We need your help to share information about the process and for you to share what you love about your public school!

Workshops are in full swing and will take place throughout the fall semester.

Some upcoming dates include:

  • Tuesday, October 8, 2019 from 7:00 PM 8:30 PM at the Bernal Heights Branch Library (TK and Elementary)

  • Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 6:00 PM 7:30 PM at the Excelsior Branch Library (TK and Elementary)
