Don’t worry, you have time! If you complete your application online via ParentVue now, the District automatically checks it and you’ll have the peace of mind that it is done. Be sure to leave enough time to manage problems.

What do you NEED to have to hand when you apply?

  • A list of the schools to which you would be happy to send your child, ranked in order of preference.

  • The program you are applying to - General Education? Language Pathway?

  • Documents to upload: Parent ID, Proof of Address & Proof of birth (for students new to SFUSD)

  • Know your route to ParentVue

    • New to SFUSD? search sfusd.edu/enroll

    • Students already enrolled in SFUSD but never used ParentVue? Search portal.sfusd.edu and click the Pink Key to activate your account

    • Applied before but not currently in SFUSD? Search portal.sfusd.edu and click the Pink Key symbol to activate your account

  • Browse the SFUSD Enrollment Guide lists all schools, programs and compares them in handy charts that show start times, before & after school programs, location etc.

  • Use your address to search for your preferences and your Attendance Area school. Top tip - type your address very SLOWLY

What deadlines do you need to know right now?

  • Ruth Asawa School Of The Arts - Application deadline is Friday January 15, 2021 - don’t forget you need to apply to SFUSD via ParentVue too!

  • Application deadline - 4pm on February 5, 2021

  • Assignment letters - mailed and emailed around March 22, 2021
