Parents for Public School San Francisco (PPS-SF) Applauds Agreement Between SFUSD and UESF
San Francisco — Parents for Public School San Francisco (PPS-SF), a national parent advocacy nonprofit headquartered in San Francisco since 1999, applauds the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and United Educators of San Francisco (UESF) for reaching an agreement that advances stability for students, families, and educators.
For more than two decades, PPS-SF has supported over 830,000 parents by elevating parent voice and shaping how decisions are made in public schools. We champion public education and work to ensure every school succeeds by sharing knowledge, bridging communities, and informing policy. Teacher retention, economic stability, housing security, and positive health outcomes are essential to thriving schools, and the SFUSD–UESF agreement is an important step toward strengthening those foundations for San Francisco’s students and families.
