27 years ago when two SFUSD moms felt public schools lacked defenders and ambassadors of to their public good.

Since, Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco has been a unwavering voice in promoting the fundamental value of public education, empowering families and students across our city. We've helped thousands navigate complex school systems, understand their rights, and advocate for family-centered educational policies.

We are proud that we have created a ripple effect of positive change—transforming systems and inspiring other parents and caregivers.
