Spread Love to 26 Children This Giving Tuesday!

As we celebrate Giving Tuesday, I invite you to reflect on the pressing realities faced by our community. Immigration raids, threats to our hard-won entitlements, ongoing school closures, and the dismantling of the Department of Education all weigh heavily on families and children in our neighborhoods. At Parents for Public Schools, we are determined to make a positive impact during these challenging times.
This holiday season, we are excited to introduce our Healing Hearts initiative, which aims to make a difference in the lives of our children by healing the hearts of their parents. One of the deepest responsibilities we have as parents is to provide for our children. Through Healing Hearts, we ensure parents receive the support they need to give back to their families.
Our goal is to provide every child with a toy and a jacket, ensuring they feel the warmth of love and care this holiday season. We seek to raise $2,600 by December 4th, 2025, to support 26 precious children in our community.
Additionally, Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco offers invaluable services, including culturally tailored parent workshops and wellness programs designed to enhance school navigation, early literacy, socio-emotional skills, and community advocacy for San Francisco youth in grades K-12 and their families, as well as Transitional Age Young Adults.
In a world filled with uncertainties—from school closures to threats against education—your support can help us create a narrative of hope. Your generous contributions will directly impact the lives of these children and their families, providing not only material comfort but also the assurance that they are cherished and supported by their community.
This Giving Tuesday, I invite you to join us in making this holiday season unforgettable for our children. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us build a brighter future together.
And together, we can make a significant difference for all parents.
My Best to you all,
Dr. Vanessa Danielle Marrero
