Resources and Help for Families during School Closure

We know this is a difficult time for many families and children. We have put together a list of resources where you can find childcare, food, and more help if needed. We are all in this together!

SFUSD is providing free meals for children. Please visit this site

SF Rec and Park Department is accepting applications for qualified families for emergency child and youth care services. Currently, only the families of San Francisco’s COVID-19 first responders, which include San Francisco-based hospital staff, Department of Public Health employees, and activated disaster service workers, are eligible for emergency child and youth care.

There are essential city services that are open during COVID 19 outbreak such as emergency services, child support services, police department, etc. Find out more information in this page.

Talking with Children and Youth About COVID-19
