Attend a Summer Resource Fair!

San Francisco Department of Children, Youth, and their Families is hosting eight more summer resource pop-ups around the city. These are one-stop-shops for information on a wealth of summer programs and opportunities in San Francisco.

SF Rec and Park offers a vast array of camps and activities throughout the summer

Be ready to register to have a better change for your camp options. There are program scholarships available to qualified families.

YMCA Offers summer camps in many neighborhood facilities


San Francisco YMCA branches offer 10 weeks of summer camps as well as spring break camps and other programs for kids and youth from TK to 11th grade. Prices range from about $250-$460 per week and the YMCA offers sliding scale options and financial assistance to qualifying families who apply.

Scholar Ahead connects students to afterschool and summer internships and enrichment activities

Scholar Ahead, is a free online educational opportunity platform with over 1,000 summer enrichment programs, internships, and research opportunities, primarily for middle and high school students. Many programs are free to income-eligible families and some even pay a stipend! Deadlines for many programs are fast approaching.

A free two-week summer scholars program at Yale

A free one week Summer Program for High School Girls who excel in Mathematics and Science at Cornell University

MITES program at MIT a paid Student Leaders Program at Bank of America a Research Internship Program at Boston University

Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco offer low cost camps at various clubhouses throughout the city

Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco offer free and very low cost school break and summer day camps to members at various club locations across the city and also have an overnight camp option - Camp Mendocino - which clubhouse members and non-members can access for a reduced fee. You can see information about offerings at individual clubhouses here. Becoming a member to access programming requires families to fill out a short form.

Activity Hero lets you search for local summer camps.

Activity Hero is offering scholarships to 50+ local camps. Click here to learn more about scholarships. They are accepting applications for spring break and summer camp scholarships now.

The deadline for early awards is March 1.
