Meet the Staff: Lindsay West, Enrollment Coordinator


Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco is a small but mighty team. We are parents, community leaders, and public school advocates. Our staff represents a wide array of ages, languages, and countries of origin. One thing we share in common: our passion for public education as a foundation of a livable city for everyone.

This week meet Lindsay, our new Enrollment Coordinator:


I have 15 years experience in all areas of hospitality including cooking, event planning, HR management, marketing and public relations. Most recently I helped launch an entirely new product in the culinary startup space working as Chef, Events & Marketing Lead. 

Why do you choose to do this work?

Having three children in San Francisco public schools has shown me the value of public education and community, especially in a big city. I want to use the skills I gained from previous jobs to help build community and to further a company I really believe in. 

Tell us a fun fact about you (outside of work):

I was a cook in San Francisco for many years and helped open Italian restaurants including Incanto, A16 & SPQR.
