# BoardWatch, launched in 2017, is a digital program which publishing real-time coverage of what is happening in the Board of Education meetings across social media platforms. PPS-SF believes that Board meetings are where issues and decisions happen that impact our public schools.

One September 30, 2025, the SFUSD Board of Education will hear several items that will be important for our board to weigh in on. We are focusing on the following: Monitoring Workshop: Goal 1 (3rd Grade Reading), Goal 2 (8th Grade Math), Goal 3 (College/Career Ready), Public Hearing on and Approval of Resolution Regarding the Sufficiency of Textbooks and Instructional Materials as Required by Education Code Section 60119, Public Hearing and Information Only Regarding Petition for KIPP Bayview Elementary School 259-30GL2 and A Petition for KIPP San Francisco College Preparatory 259-30GL3 (these are listed as separate agenda items.) All Public hearing items must allow for public comment.
