English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

Each school with 21 or more students of limited English proficiency in attendance, regardless of language, must form a functioning English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC).

The ELAC helps the school principal and staff understand the needs of English Learner (EL) students. ELAC is a committee of parents and staff members.
